thoughts on a long drive

I drove today from San Diego back up to the Bay Area.  It took about 6.5 hours, which is much faster than I expected.  Along the way I couldn’t help notice that people seemed to drive just as you would expect them to given the car they drive.  If someone drove a huge truck they were very aggressive and didn’t care if they cut me off (which happened pretty blatantly).  If someone drove a small car they were much more conservative and didn’t drive aggressively at all.  There is most certainly a correlation here.

Experiment: I think it would be interesting to have the people with the huge trucks drive a small car (i.e. Mini) and the people that drive the small cars drive a huge truck (i.e. F350).  And I wonder how it would change their driving styles, personalities, political views, etc?
