product innovation: walkers
I was watching an elderly woman try to use her walker today, but it was difficult for her to maneuver the arcane device because it is meant for the smooth floors of a hospital, not the ever-changing landscape of the outside world.
With all of the innovation in baby strollers and mountain bikes, you’d think that a more dynamic walker would be available, but it is not. One with inflatable tires and shock absorbers and swivel wheels and a light, and on and on.
No doubt this is a good market as the US population ages.
