how i (quickly) get things done
I do things immediately. I decide what to do with an email immediately. I start new projects as soon as I get them.
In the past I would put projects off (and email), but think about them for a long time and then it became (mentally) hard to actually start. Now I try to avoid that dilemma by starting projects immediately and making decisions quickly. The beauty is that I can make twice as many mistakes this way, which means I can learn twice as quickly.
I also make lists constantly. It makes my brain feel better, which is actually really important because if my brain doesn’t feel good it is hard for me to get anything done.
