what if while browsing yahoo a banner ad caught your attention and said something like, “watch The Office while you browse the web”. you click on the ad and then a screen pops-out and starts playing the last episode of the office. you can either watch the episode full screen or have it open in the background while you continue to browse the web.
advertisers like it because they run a few ads within the actual content, consumers like it because maybe an ad will actually become useful, content owners like it because more people are watching their programming.
seems like a winning scenario.
